Balloon care & disclaimers
A few tips to keep your balloons looking their best through your event.
- Balloons are sensitive to changes in temperature. Helium expands in heat, so if balloons are left in a hot car, they may pop! In the summer, keep the AC on in the car to prevent balloons from bursting.
- If balloons are rained on or taken into the cold, they will temporarily droop or deflate. They will reinflate again when dry and warm. In the winter, keep the heat on to prevent balloons from drooping.
- Balloons kept outside will remain inflated for less time.
- When exposed to heat and sunshine, clear balloons can become cloudy while colored balloons can take on a velvety, matte appearance.
- The ideal temperature for helium balloons is between 72° and 78°F.
- Foil balloons can last about a week. Latex balloons last 8-12 hours.
- Balloons should not be stored in a bag for more than 30 minutes.
- Balloons are delicate and can pop from contact with lights, fixtures, irregular surfaces, paint textures, and even static. Avoid all contact with sharp or rough materials, and keep balloons away from edges. Be careful if floating your balloons to the ceiling.
- When loading your bundled balloons into the car, keep bundles separated to prevent tangling. If purchasing several bouquets, keep them in separate bags.
- While we use the highest quality balloons and take every precaution necessary with your balloons to ensure they last through your event, we cannot be responsible for the balloons once they leave our premises.
- Image color may appear different when inflated.
